“Treat Your Story Like a Brand” event with Women in Film & Video (Washington, DC)

You work to make your story the best it can be and refine your pitch over and over again. But before you get the meetings, you need to know how to present your project on paper and online. This could mean a pitch deck, bible, website, etc. Terra Joy, a DC-based Communications Specialist and Marketing Strategist for creatives and entrepreneurs, will share how treating your story like its own brand helps your work stand out, and get you taken seriously as a creative professional. You will learn how to use marketing savvy to create buzz and substantiate your ownership of what you’ve created. You will also learn how to best keep supplemental materials consistent and maximize artwork designed for your project. If you feel your content is almost ready to go out into the world, or if you want to change up your strategy for getting more eyes on the merchandise, you definitely want to join us!
